June 1st Edition of The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today...

Outside my window... yellows, greens and blues

I am thinking... how nice it is to have so many taking part in this simple little idea now going on for almost a year

From the learning rooms... life and lots of trips to the library

I am thankful for... the season of warmth

From the kitchen... simple healthy foods, our own garden goodies and fruits from the market

I am wearing... new 'love'em' blue safari shorts, white tank, barefeet and the silver Narnia necklace Livvie got me for my birthday

I am reading... piles of goodstuff

I am hoping... to squeeze every drop of summer out of the next 3 months

I am creating... my last daybook here until Monday, September 14th...see ya in September! Enjoy your vacation!

I am praying... for a happy and safe summer vacation

One of my favorite things... the slow and busy months of June, July and August...aahh

A few plans for the rest of the week... softball game, long walk, pool outing, picnic out back, Target and a summer haircut appointment

For Today...

Outside my window... humid sunshine mixed with clouds

I am thinking... how nice it is to have all the laundry caught up...Thank you Livvie girl

From the learning rooms... life at large

I am thankful for... good health for all

From the kitchen... big pot of homemade beef noodle soup

I am wearing... bronze colored safari capris, peach sleeve-less tank and brown flip-flops

I am reading... just skimming the cover of a new find...British Country Living magazine (see below)

I am hoping... to wrap up all homeschool paperwork this week

I am creating... some new scrap pages

I am praying... for sweeties for my older children...they wait patiently

Around the house... everyone happily doing their own thing

A few plans for the rest of the week... work at the church rummage sale tables, dentist to see why my temporary crown is hurting :-( and a few nature walks with journal and pencil bags in tow
