FOR TODAY... from Peggy's Daybook

Outside my window... cold with over a foot of new and beautiful snow

I am thinking... about my last minute shopping list

I am thankful for... for little snow birds that grace my berry tree in the morn

I am wearing... trouser jeans, cotton tee with orange sweater over top, new long necklace and brown clogs (shopping trip with Livvie later)

I am remembering... how a good friend stepped up to encourage me when I was down last week

I am going... to get use to my new glasses

I am currently reading... The Amish Cook's Baking Book...bought 2, one for me and one for my mom for Christmas

I am hoping... and (praying)for a wonderful future for my second son and his blessing who lives in the valley

On my mind... my friends on facebook and what they're into this morning...new to me, but LOTS of fun checking in!

Noticing that... fear of a situation is getting much smaller as my mind is filled up with Christ and his blessings

Pondering these words... "She turned to the frost-covered window and scratching a small opening with her fingers, she pressed her face to the pane to look out on Christmas Day. An angry wind swirled heavily falling snow, piling drifts in seemingly mountainous proportions. She could not even see the well at times for the density of it."...Love Comes Softly

From the kitchen... rice krispie treats, minty chocolate cookies and peanut butter blossoms

Around the house... tidy up, get Samuel to school after a 2-hour delay, drop the other children at my parents and then off with Livvie to Panera Bread, Borders and the Valley Mall..checking my list twice

One of my favorite things~ snow

I need to check our apple trees. We had so many apples last year. I can't imagine this year will be so good.
