~The Simple Woman's Daybook~

Would you like to linger on the simple things...then join me and many others in taking a little look into the day plans and thoughts of those who are focusing on simplicity...beauty of the 'everyday moments'.

FOR TODAY... from Peggy's Daybook

Outside my window... rain

I am thinking... that the Steelers should have had that game!!

I am thankful for... a King who is still on the throne!

I am wearing... jean skirt, navy henley tee and hair still drying

I am remembering... the wonderful drive with my husband through the mountains yesterday, complete with a little picnic in the car!

I am going... to an eye appointment and then shopping tomorrow

I am currently reading... The Quilt of Life (A Patchwork of Devotional Thoughts by Mary Tatem)

I am hoping... you will enter the book review and giveaway at The Simple Woman blog~today is the LAST day to enter!!

On my mind... the new community forum, In The Space of a Day! Join me HERE

From the learning rooms... coming off vacation...slowly

Noticing that... facebook can be fun, but only after you remove 14 blogs from the to-read list to make the time...got friends?

Pondering these words... "Quilting by machine has changed the time required to make a quilt. By hand, the process takes time. Any task or hobby that requires a long time from start to finish is profitable for character development. When a person learns to delay gratification for a better reward in the end, he or she develops patience. Patience helps us when we find ourselves in situations that are beyond our control." from the book I am currently reading...listed above

From the kitchen... hopefully lots of deer venison...first day of whitetail in Pa.
and I have 4 in the field

Around the house... craft supplies and pretty red and white lights

One of my favorite things~ is working on my lap piece currently tightened in my hoop

Taking Part In The Simple Woman's Daybook

The Simple Woman's Daybook will be posted each Monday.

Here's how to take part:

1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideas I have listed below into your blog entry. Be as descriptive as you can! (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman's Daybook.) Please add your"picture thought" photo at the end of your daybook entry because we all love pictures!
~*~*~*~*~
(Add The Simple Woman button HERE IF you know how)

FOR TODAY
(PLACE THE DATE HERE)...
Outside my window...
I am thinking...
I am thankful for...
From the learning rooms...(if this applies)
From the kitchen...
I am wearing...
I am creating...
I am going...
I am reading...
I am hoping...
I am hearing...
Around the house...
One of my favorite things...
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...(add your picture here)

Mention my blog and offer a link back to the main page of my blog. http://thesimplewomansdaybook.blogspot.com/

This is a requirement to take part and a kind gesture to me your hostess as well as your readers--they will know where to join in the fun, too.

2. Copy the "permalink" ONLY from your "The Simple Woman's Daybook" post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find it instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your "daybook". Anyone not posting ONLY the daybook entry permalink will have their link removed.

3. Come back here and add your permalink to the Mister Linky box. This is the second box. In the first box where it lists "YOUR NAME"...please only place up to 5 words. The reason being is if it gets too long it pushes the html code off the page .

PLEASE NOTE: Inappropriate links, links to things you sell, etc. will be removed at my discretion.

75 kind notes:
